Blog Reflection

Early in the year, I learned the importance of how camera work is done without to much movement of the camera and what kind of shot will be good to use in some type of situation. You can see that in my first film, I didn't do this because the camera was not looing straight at the person, the camera was not placed at the right shot to give a good camera shot. On my second project i learned put sounds and music in our videos to give that extra feeling to people when they watch it. A scene that shows this well is in the film called "Cyberbully" when Mr.Schalhorn is talking about why is cyberbullying happening in school. Later in the year I showed that i really had learned that concept well,since I showed this in other projects. One good example is from "The Water is Wide" in the scene when it says "And with his head" we made a picture of a head change colors and look more terrified then what the line says.




The things I believe i did and learn in making videos and from watching them was how to create a special shot and the background if it went with it or not. Also the work i did in class was how to make my best videos with the most video and audio effects I can put in my video. And the people who were our actors to act as your character and to make the video more realistic for everyones entertainment.

Jabberwocky

Reflection for "Jabberwocky": Which special effect did you use best?The best special effect i used on this video was when the head turned from normal colors solarized colors this effect is called solarized the bigger the number on the effect control the more solarized it becomes. Describe what effect you used and why you think this worked.This effect worked because the line was "and with his head" shows a pic of a head but with the effect it made it look more like scary in a way or at least something different.This worked because it changed the mood to something scary to something creepy. What mood were you trying to communicate?We were trying to make the mood scared because its about a monster who kills well that was our part of the Jabberwocky stanza. What idea were you trying to show by using this image and effect? The idea we were trying to show was like a killer who lives in the woods who hunts and kills his prey.
